Our client is looking for Operations Team Lead Requirements • First Degree in Business or Financial Management or similar field • Five to seven (5-7) years’ experience in a Senior Managerial position. • Experience in managing social development projects will be an asset. • Minor in Psychology will be an asset • Certification in Project Management will be an asset. • Sound knowledge of general business practices • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with the Civil Society Sector will be useful Attributes Decisive and Assertive Ability to manage multiple projects Analytical Sound judgment Excellent demonstrated leadership skills Outstanding communications skills, written and oral Ability to inspire and motivate a team Work creatively with tight/limited resources Efficient Dynamic Visionary Strategic Thinker DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Strategic Oversight Provide leadership and vision to the organization by working with the Board and team members to develop long term and annual plans. Collaborate with the BOD and senior team members to define project portfolios and align them with long-term organizational goals. Identify opportunities for programme expansion, innovation, and sustainability. Lead the development of operational strategies that optimize resource allocation, project execution, and impact measurement. Project Management and Planning Administration Lead project officers and project teams, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and project objectives. Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project performance and outcomes. Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and impact evaluations. Oversee preparation of Annual Budgets, Monthly Reports summarizing the progress of programmes and daily operations on short- and long-term plans. Research and prepare analysis documents and proposals as needed to assist the organization in determining and meeting its long- and short-term goals. Oversee strategic issues of all departments and play an active role in the operational issues. Network with Government Ministries on opportunities that can benefit the NPO financially or otherwise, through programme development and/or building capacity for development and growth. HR and Personnel Management Oversee the main day to day HR functions of the Organization from recruitment through to separation. Manage the performance of team members, including executing performance appraisals for each team member within the three (3) month period and/or as deemed necessary. Guide the establishment/ implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, conferring with Board Members, Management and staff members as necessary.
