Our client is looking for Senior Financial Analyst Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Banking, Finance, Commerce or Accounting)Completion of Professional designation such as ACCA/CIMA/CIS/CA/CFA or Msc. Finance Minimum of five years professional experience in banking, finance or similar field. Extensive knowledge of the financial and banking sector is an added advantage. Experience in investments would be an advantage. Excellent analytical, planning, organizational leadership, problem-solving and communication skills (oral and written) KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collects and analyzes data on deposits, and other relevant member statistics. Conducts research and formulates relevant policies pertaining to deposit insurance, especially on funding. Develops, improves, and implements technical regulations and standard operating procedures for funding and investment function. Participates in annual simulation exercises and testing of the deposit data to ensure BDIC’s readiness to fulfill its mandate. Provides financial analysis of all aspects related to deposit insurance and the Fund Ensures accurate invoicing and collection of member premiums Oversees / manages investment performance and risk metrics, including liquidity projections. Prepares timely and accurate fund reports for efficient decision making. Maintain accurate accounting files and reports in compliance with IFRS. Support public awareness activities and development of information materials on deposit insurance.
