Qualifications Education  Relevant education within marine industry from an operational role. Experience in logistics, shipping, vessel operations, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.  Relevant industry experience may compensate for formal educational qualifications. Experience  Experience from the maritime, offshore, shipping, logistics, or oil and gas industry.  Experience with vessel charter parties and operational know-how to ensure swift and timely deliverable.  Experience dealing with government authorities and regulatory bodies.  Experience coordinating personnel, contractors, and external service providers. Competencies  Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations within Guyana.  Excellent knowledge of local administrative and regulatory processes.  Established network and professional contacts within relevant government agencies and industry stakeholders are highly desirable.  Have good vessel technical understanding.  Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative reporting systems.
