QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The successful candidate should possess:  Minimum ACCA Level 2 or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.  Approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably including accounting, financial management, business management and/or operations.  Demonstrated experience in a management or supervisory capacity.  Experience developing business processes, systems, controls and procedures.  Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting and cash-flow management.  Experience within transportation, trucking, logistics, distribution or a related operational industry would be a significant asset.  Working knowledge of applicable business, taxation, and statutory requirements in Guyana.  An understanding of workplace and operational health and safety standards.  Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools, particularly Excel skills and the ability to establish reliable accounting records, financial reports, document management, and internal controls using Microsoft tools.
